I created My TOAD(TM) App to coach users across the lifespan who struggle with their ADHD to address time management, organization, accountability, and distractibility (TOAD).

My TOAD(TM) App is the only comprehensive executive functioning app of its kind to offer this combination of effective tools needed to master skills related to these executive functions. Research has shown that proficiency in awareness and management of time, organizational skills, personal accountability, and the limitation of distractions are critical for countering struggles related to executive functioning.

Our process begins with a straightforward onboarding process that results in a personalized plan of attack. Depending on the results of that process, the user has access to several tools: My TOAD(TM) App begins with the opportunity for the user to ground themselves using the Brain Dump tool.

The Time Management feature offers a Master Calendar to plan out and schedule works and school-related tasks, and the Task Manager allows the user to schedule, estimate how long a task will take, rate the level of difficulty, create reminders, and offer accountability check-ins all in one place.

The Organization feature offers the Task Manager tool where users can organize their work, school, and life projects and tasks, while simultaneously helping to facilitate a stronger sense of time.

The How-To tool provides AI-inspired interactions to simplify common tasks related to work, home, and school.

For those users who tend to lose personal belongings, the Lost and Found tool helps to user decrease the number of items they misplace as well as the frequency with which they lose them while simultaneously identifying effective places to store these belongings and assisting in the location of items that have been misplaced.

The Brain Dump (mentioned earlier) has the ability to inspire productivity with its Workspace feature where users can further develop their ideas they noted during their brain dump.

The Get-to-Do List puts a positive spin on the tasks the user must complete each day.

The Accountability feature offers the 3 2B-Me tool is a three-reminder system that reminds the user to prepare for a task, initiate the task, and confirm that the task has begun.

Additionally, the SOS tool enables the user to reach out to others to aid in the process of accountability.

Accountability Tabs help the user to keep track of which tasks have been initiated, those that are in progress and completed, and those that require additional assistance.

Finally, the Distractibility feature offers the Ambient Noise tool to help quiet external and internal noise with the use of music and a wide variety of ambient sounds to choose from.

My TOAD(TM) App was created by Hannah Bookbinder, LSW, M.Ed., an ADHD coach who for over 25 years has worked with individuals across the lifespan who live with ADHD. The tools in this app are informed by the clinically-proven strategies Hannah uses with her clients in her office. This app was thoroughly tested by individuals who have ADHD as well as professionals who work with this population.

My TOAD(TM) App is intended to be used as a supplement to or independent of life or academic coaching.
